Suppose you are going to buy a new remote then you can not take tv with you.So if you want to check the remote working or not working then just follow these steps.

Step 1: First of all open camera of your mobile.

Step2:Focus the remote's ir-led (infra red light emitting diode) towards the camera of your mobile.

Step3:Now here are two things to be noted if a light will appear in your phone camera then your remote is working.If a light will not appear in your phone camera then your tv remote is not working... Enjoy...
